The Keyence Vision System checks 99 different dimensions on each part and the computer software automatically orientates the part to the proper dimensions. It can even review more than one part at a time. The computer calculates the predetermined specifications and features a green light if it’s good to go, or a red light if it requires any type of correction. Data is stored within the system and can be accessed easily at any time.
We care a lot about the quality of our products. That’s why production doesn’t begin until a first article inspection of all dimensions is performed and approved. We follow multiple guidelines so each product is inspected with the same expert level of care and attention. In past years, this process took hours, and even longer if products failed the test and needed to be reissued. Today, we use the Keyence Vision System for our first article inspection, which helps get items approves within minutes.
